About Us

Heather Cook

Heather is the founder of Hearts in Halters. She has always had a passion for horses and has been riding since she was a small child. At the age of 7 years old she began showing horses. One of the reasons Heather wanted to start Hearts in Halters is because of the way horses can change people's lives just by being around them. To see the way such a large animal can be so gentle with a child and to see the joy and happiness a horse can bring to people, that makes it all worth it to her.

Wade Cook

Wade is the co-founder of Hearts in Halters. He has been around horses for most of his life. Since meeting Heather, he has seen the joy she gets from working with kids and horses. Her passion has become his and has inspired him to join her in starting Hearts in Halters. Seeing horses change lives of people with special needs is the greatest thing in the world.
